Keyes faction routed at Constituion Party Convention

Heck, my blog an this subject disappeared anyway keyes lost over the weekend to a faction that wants to end the war in Iraq. They remain rightwing on other subjects such as immigration, and want to do away with the social contract. More later when I find my document if it still exists.

Anyway the White candidate won and Keyes lost. He has complained about being discriminated against because he is Catholic, not a progressive Catholic but a Sun Myung Moon-like manipulative fascist and one twisted cookie under that often radiant smile. The majority of the Constitution Party delegates seem to have seen Keyes as something of an interloper and even an outsider. Perhaps he was.

Did Alan's race play a role in his unpopularity with the largely white nativist majority at the convention? One comment I read by a purported delegate referred to Alan as "...just another angry black man". I was surprised to see that because Keyes usually speaks in the persona of a businessman. It just seems so weird to see such allegations about him. Perhaps even Alan Keyes, the closest person I know to the last black soldier in the Confederate Army, suffers race discrimination. I never thought of him as a firey orator.

Well, the Constitution Party is having a convention in Kansas City with supposedly 300 anticipated participants. Sound familiar? I have noticed that some MCDC chapters and the Constitution Party seem to be closely related.

If you know that MCDC is a project of the Alan Keyes conspiracy to rule the world and know that his platform with the Constitution Party will read almost exactly like the MCDC web sites
then you can put two and two together. I don't know if Minueman Ed is involved in this but I wouldn't be surprised if Frances Semler is. There could be quite an overlap in the two groups and their memberships.

There is something scary about Alan Keyes. I believe that his own extremist religious beliefs are
similar to that of a lot of MCDC members and Constitution Party folks.

Well it looks like the minutemen civil defense corp will have an event here in the KC area after all. I want to take the opportunity to ask the so-called Chaplin of the Missouri and Kansas Minuteman Civil Defense Corp. What is it that you don't get about this passage in Leviticus?

The strangers who sojourn with you shall be to you as the natives among you, and you shall love them as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt."

After virtually sacrificing his mayorship by defending minutewoman Francis Semler Mayor Funkhouser is now getting reamed. Minuteman leader, Ed Hayes of Olathe is promoting the idea that it was Francis Semler who was betrayed when she quit her position without even notifying the mayor. KCMO council- person Ed Ford said, “I actually felt sorry for Funk when (Semler) unloaded on him,” and “As many arrows as he has taken for her, it just shows no good (sic) deed goes unpunished.”

Now national MCDC leader Chris Simcox and Ed Hayes are accusing the mayor of being a traitor. Part of a January 23^rd press release from the Minuteman group reads as follows

PHOENIX, AZ —The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) decry the actions of Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser, who has chosen to play racial politics and cater to the bigotry of the open borders lobby, rather than support his own appointee Frances Semler.

I guess it all goes to show that if you kiss a minuteman on the derrier, like they want, he or she will still kick yours. Better stay on the other side of the street when you see one of these gun nuts coming your way!

The police chief of KCMO has also become a minuteman target! These vigilantes propose to tell him how to run the police force! Of course they would just assume replace the police force themselves. That is why they are so dangerous. They are establishing independent militias accountable to no one.

I also think it is somewhat unfortunate that a minuteman resident of Olathe is trying so hard to run KCMO, a city that many of his supporters are now pledging to boycott! Why? Because Semler is a quitter! He blames her unilateral decision to quit on the mayor. So does Semler. So

does Chris Simcox. Whatever happened to "personal responsibility"?

Any individual or organization who speaks with concern of the impact of the well-organized invasion of illegals in this country is subjected to being called terms such as bigot or racist. Yes, as a member, I have associated with men and women members of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. I have found them to be dedicated to the belief that laws must be respected and enforced. Accusations against this organization have been unfounded and unjust. Members advocate for protection of all borders and enforcement of our laws. A report by the American Legion includes these same concerns.

[Almost everyone is concerned about these issues but it is largely a question of degree. MCDC tries to insert itself as some sort of paramilitary or armed patrol down on the Mexican border. I don't think that the American Legion endorses that do they? Trying to hide behind another more mainstream organization? Shame on you!]

The controversy regarding my membership in MCDC was fueled by Kansas City Star reporters and the President of the Coalition of Hispanic Organizations, Rita Valenciano [the woman you allowed to be targeted for some sort of lynching on radio this morning]. John Fierro, President of the Kansas City Park Board, has been connected with this same group. This Coalition is associated with La Raza, led by Janet Murguia, who was pictured on the front page of the Kansas City Star with fist raised. Are these paid positions and are our tax monies involved? Reverend Charles Steele Jr., President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, has threatened to “shut” the city down. It has been my experience that many of those supporting illegals are immigration lawyers, also paid with taxpayer funds.

Members of the City Council of Kansas City have made vicious, false, and irresponsible claims about me. One member has publicly, with arrogance, expressed her support for “open borders.” [One out of four Americans agree with her! Are all "traitors"?]

Have the 12 to 20 million illegals in this country made an impact on the economy of Kansas City? Estimates are as high as 40% unemployment in some areas of this city. Yet, we have a police chief who has publicly boasted about the protection of illegals at the Westside Can Center, staffed by Linda Callon. Chief Corwin spoke to this at a forum held at Penn Valley Community College sponsored by Missouri State Legislators. He was challenged by State Representative Gary Dusenberg for not upholding the law as he had pledged to do. Dusenberg is a former Missouri State Highway Patrolman. Kansas City is not designated officially as a “sanctuary city,” but it is.

It was with great enthusiasm that I accepted the responsibilities of the Kansas City Missouri Parks and Recreation Board. I do believe I have been a positive asset. [Like a bullet in the head, Madaam.] There are many projects I eagerly wanted to pursue [Yeah, Frances, if it wasn't for all the traitors you had to work with you could have accomplished something!], but after reading the Mike Hendricks article in the January 17, 2008, issue o the Kansas City Star quoting the Mayor and the untrue statements made by Gloris[sic] Squitiro in a recent January publication of the Kansas City Hispanic News, I feel BETRAYED. MINUTEMAN ED HAYES CELEBRATED SEMLER CONTROVERSY AS FREE PUBLICITY, AND WANTS MORE!

Minuteman Ed Hayes and Frances Semler have worked together on MCDC projects since before Frances Semler wound up on the Kansas City Missouri Park Board. He made reference to that controversy back in the Summer of 2007. His comments from his own website are below.

Note From Ed Hayes June 14, 2007: One of our Minuteman Members (Frances Semler) was appointed to the KCMo Park board and the Hispanics are raising hell because she is a MM Member. This Star article is the second on the subject but the talk shows have picked it up and its all over the place. Francis has been on the radio and certainly will be more. We are finally getting a public backlash over the KKK accusations etc. by the race baiters, everytime they do something like this around here they step seem to step in it. A city councilman called in this morning and accused Francis of being a racist making racists comments and he was put on the spot, asked to give one example and he could not. He ended up looking pretty ignorant in his statements and replies. The folks around here including Kris Kobach refer to the KC Star the "Red Star" since they always side with the special interest groups that are pro illegal Immigration. Thanks for your comments, Minuteman Ed. It sounds like all those awful commies at the Kansas City Star have been getting upset over nothing. Good to see that you were sanguine about the gut wrenching experience of Kansas City, Missouri, as they dealt with the "Semler controversy". I thought with her deal with Mayor Funkhouser we might not hear from her again. But, in the back of my mind I remembered her making a pledge on the Laura Schlesinger
show (or was it Laura Ingraham, Phyllis Schlaffly?) to continue to speak out
about her immigration ideas. She seemed to be out of sight and out of mind. Last Summer you hoped the Semler controversy could be used to benefit MCDC. By quitting her job and posing as victimized anti-immigration activist Francis Semler can be used to promote the otherwise anemic meeting of the MCDC planned this February 1^st, 2008.

Of course you hoped for a national convention back then and then it became something else, a regional conference for Simcox loyalists and the usual rubes.

Now your poster grandma, Francis Semler has quit her Parks and Recreations Board position in Kansas City, Missouri so she can speak out on behalf of the MCDC. She said so on the Darla Jaye show of January 22^nd, 2008. Ed Hayes, MCDC leader in both Missouri and Kansas said as much in the interview that followed. It was a touching interview as everyone expressed sympathy for Francis Semler who has somehow been wronged by the debate over how to characterize immigration problems.

Obviously the whole hullabaloo over Semler had actually settled down. With relatively current criticism of Semler she had to come up with some lame excuse to quit. She didn't like something written in the Kansas City Star last week and so she quit based upon some sort of reported gossip.

Now Francis Semler says she is pleased to be able to promote the MCDC Workshop while posing as a victimized granny. I wonder if Gloria can get that knife out of Mark's back? You know, the one with, “Thank you, you liberal bastard, love Francis.”, written on it. Did she leave a rose too?
