RIGHT WING MILITIAS IN DISTRESS

The apparent collapse of MCDC is something of a surprise because it seemed that some sort of increase in militance had just occurred within MCDC leadership.  There was something of a battle call from MCDC for everone to come to the border "locked and loaded".  A lot of folks were ready to come. Then Carmen Mercer thought about how bad things could happen to her and others.  Perhaps we should thank her for finally getting to that issue.  It may have prevented mayhem on the border.

  Of course the whole collapse suggests something of a government crackdown and or these folks going more underground if they don't give up.

Perhaps it is time to remember those who have supported this sort of right-wing militia
locally as well as nationally.


The Hutaree militia and arrests is pretty chilling because they were supposedly going to target law enforcement in the name of fighting the Anti-Christ.  Who is the Anti-Christ?  Xavier Solano of the EEU. 
This is an old one, Garner Ted Armstrong and his beloved father used to talk about the seven headed EEU for years.  The EEU has become quite powerful and yet is Javier Solano really the Anti-Christ?  I am skeptical.

I haven't heard from Minuteman Ed, but I suspect he would not like the Hutaree and their conspiracy to murder cops since he is a former officer of the law.  I hope Minuteman ED doesn't like the idea of targeting brothers in blue.

  I think that these  differences are the result of right wing nuts falling from different right wing nut trees.  How is that for a scientific explanation?


So one right wing nut group is targetting law enforcement while other right wing nut groups claim to be composed of law enforcement or military people.  Variation, go figure.  Of course it is really the different right wing ideas that are in these different militia members heads that explain their diverse forms of bad behavior.  Right wing militias vary in their ideas and ideologies, it is a garden of diverse poisonous weeds.

I do have the impression that the Feds are cracking down on these nascent terrorist cells.  They are also warning some of these militias not to do illegal stuff.  I saw that some Montana militia leader is being prosecuted for sending out false liens from his own court.  There is a new law against that.

Scott Roeder was with the Montana Militia, I believe, so we may hear more from them.  Of course he is now serving a life sentence for murdering Dr. George Tiller during a church service.  I believe that is associated with a so-called "Army of God" which may be nothing more than a small group, mostly incarcerated now for killing various people. 

Whatever we want to believe there has been a low intensity right wing war against the rest of us for some decades.  Maybe we should wake up and deal with it.  First we have to see that a right wing terrorist war exists and then defeat it.


The Obama administration may have finally started to do something to try and reign in white supremacists and right wingers who are killing people. 

I Wonder What Minuteman Ed Thinks About Hutaree and the "Guardians of the Republics"?

Well, it has been a few years since I first looked into a little corner of the multitudinous militia movement.  That had to do with Minuteman Ed and so now with these various militia conspiracies I am wondering what he thinks about it all?

Iheard that the MCDC supposedly disbanded because the leadership was afraid of what angry and armed supporters might end up doing at the border.  The leader, Carmen Mercer spells this out, fearing violence and then culpability for calling the annual armed encampment at the border with blood curdling
rhetoric that inspired too many, she ultimately concluded.

What does Minuteman Ed think about that?

I, for one, am concerned because I see no cause to take up arms against other citizens just because they go to the wrong church or vote for the wrong party. 

Have the local MCDC chapters also disbanded?  


Hopefully this isn't just the same folks or a good portion of them reorganizing in a way that is even more dangerous to the currently existing Republic.  Is the far right falling apart or just getting more far out?

APOLOGIES FOR NOT TRACKING OUR FAVORITE MINUTEMAN

I don't know what Ed is up to these days. With the new great depression kicking in he might consider reading some Marx instead of trying to use that old slaveholder Constitution as the foundation for all that is good and liberating.

The last time I noticed Ed was in television news coverage in Missouri when then Governor Blunt was signing some sort of anti-worker legislation. I suppose Ed was something of a lobbyist in getting that passed but I don't even remember what it was.

We can presume that Ed was not seeking international solidarity with all workers, particularly our Mexican brethren, because we know the nature of Blunt and the other white supremacist "conservatives". Maybe someone can tell us about the specifics!

Keyes faction routed at Constituion Party Convention

Heck, my blog an this subject disappeared anyway keyes lost over the weekend to a faction that wants to end the war in Iraq. They remain rightwing on other subjects such as immigration, and want to do away with the social contract. More later when I find my document if it still exists.

Anyway the White candidate won and Keyes lost. He has complained about being discriminated against because he is Catholic, not a progressive Catholic but a Sun Myung Moon-like manipulative fascist and one twisted cookie under that often radiant smile. The majority of the Constitution Party delegates seem to have seen Keyes as something of an interloper and even an outsider. Perhaps he was.

Did Alan's race play a role in his unpopularity with the largely white nativist majority at the convention? One comment I read by a purported delegate referred to Alan as "...just another angry black man". I was surprised to see that because Keyes usually speaks in the persona of a businessman. It just seems so weird to see such allegations about him. Perhaps even Alan Keyes, the closest person I know to the last black soldier in the Confederate Army, suffers race discrimination. I never thought of him as a firey orator.

Well, the Constitution Party is having a convention in Kansas City with supposedly 300 anticipated participants. Sound familiar? I have noticed that some MCDC chapters and the Constitution Party seem to be closely related.

If you know that MCDC is a project of the Alan Keyes conspiracy to rule the world and know that his platform with the Constitution Party will read almost exactly like the MCDC web sites
then you can put two and two together. I don't know if Minueman Ed is involved in this but I wouldn't be surprised if Frances Semler is. There could be quite an overlap in the two groups and their memberships.

There is something scary about Alan Keyes. I believe that his own extremist religious beliefs are
similar to that of a lot of MCDC members and Constitution Party folks.

What is it that the Minuteman Chaplin Bill Cain Doesn't Get About Leviticus 33-34?

Well it looks like the minutemen civil defense corp will have an event here in the KC area after all. I want to take the opportunity to ask the so-called Chaplin of the Missouri and Kansas Minuteman Civil Defense Corp. What is it that you don't get about this passage in Leviticus?

The strangers who sojourn with you shall be to you as the natives among you, and you shall love them as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt."

FUNKHOUSER SLAMMED

After virtually sacrificing his mayorship by defending minutewoman Francis Semler Mayor Funkhouser is now getting reamed. Minuteman leader, Ed Hayes of Olathe is promoting the idea that it was Francis Semler who was betrayed when she quit her position without even notifying the mayor. KCMO council- person Ed Ford said, “I actually felt sorry for Funk when (Semler) unloaded on him,” and “As many arrows as he has taken for her, it just shows no good (sic) deed goes unpunished.”

Now national MCDC leader Chris Simcox and Ed Hayes are accusing the mayor of being a traitor. Part of a January 23^rd press release from the Minuteman group reads as follows

PHOENIX, AZ —The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) decry the actions of Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser, who has chosen to play racial politics and cater to the bigotry of the open borders lobby, rather than support his own appointee Frances Semler.

I guess it all goes to show that if you kiss a minuteman on the derrier, like they want, he or she will still kick yours. Better stay on the other side of the street when you see one of these gun nuts coming your way!

The police chief of KCMO has also become a minuteman target! These vigilantes propose to tell him how to run the police force! Of course they would just assume replace the police force themselves. That is why they are so dangerous. They are establishing independent militias accountable to no one.

I also think it is somewhat unfortunate that a minuteman resident of Olathe is trying so hard to run KCMO, a city that many of his supporters are now pledging to boycott! Why? Because Semler is a quitter! He blames her unilateral decision to quit on the mayor. So does Semler. So

does Chris Simcox. Whatever happened to "personal responsibility"?
